While I am the face of The Port, Brian is the back office and the brawn! I could not do this without his help. We honestly make a great team.
We are the proud parents of six awesome kids and now have been blessed to two wonderful grandchildren. We love sports, being outside and are both just a wee bit competitive.
We have a strong faith and opened this business after God had the words come out of my mouth that we were doing so. I never wanted our own business and often times had discouraged Brian from having his own. It took us all of 5 minutes to make the decision that this was God's will and we would answer that call with complete trust.
We have survived a lot and proud to say we are still going. Not Covid (6 months after opening) or 6 months of downtown construction last year has stopped us.
We have made many many friends along the way and truly appreciate all of them! We love provided unique experiences to our customers and I personally LOVE making candles and sharing that craft with others.
And of course we LOVE a good glass of wine!
